On December 7, 2018, Professor Sergey Afontsev, the Corresponding Member of the RAS, gave an open lecture on “Promising directions for the development of Eurasian integration” under the auspices of the TSU Center for Eurasian Studies. As part of the lecture, Sergey Afontsev presented the results of the big research project on this topic that was recently completed.

One of the main events of the third International University Cities Forum “University and city in the age of global challenges” was the roundtable “University as a global actor in regional processes” on November 29, 2018. Sergey Yun, the head of the TSU MA program ‘Eurasian integration’, made a presentation about TSU as a center for the training of the specialists in Eurasian integration.

Tomsk State University and Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a partnership agreement aimed at the development of cooperation in staff training and retraining, research and technology development activities. The agreement between TSU and Tomsk CCI was signed on the initiative of the TSU Master’s program ‘Eurasian integration’.
