International workshop 'A quarter of a century of Eurasian integration: from the conception to the implementation'

On January 31, 2019 the International workshop 'A quarter of a century of the Eurasian integration: from the conception to the implementation' took place in Astana, organized by the representatives of the universities and research organizations from Kazakhstan and Russia. The event was devoted to the 25th anniversary of the speech made by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev at MSU, in which he for the first time outlined the idea of Eurasian integration.

Organizers in Kazakhstan – L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana); in Russia – Expert club “Siberia-Eurasia” and the Siberian Institute of Management – branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (Novosibirsk).

Sergey Yun, the head of the TSU Master’s program 'Eurasian integration', represented the TSU Center for Eurasian Studies at the workshop. He gave a presentation on “Promoting the export from the EAEU countries in the framework of the Eurasian integration: the role of the universities”.
